In the superstions of Afro-Caribbean voodoo dolls and conjure bags are sent to the intended victim. The idea here is that the object, or doll, are linked to the maker, who of which can inflict harm at the will of the mind. They also can influence a person's financial prosperity, health or love life. The victim's only defence is to locate the "mirror" and burn it.
However, some witches use such objects to bring on good fortune toward the person in mind. Alternatively, the reflection is that the witch or sorcerer may use the vessel to help influence the person's financial prosperity, luck, health or love life through positive energy and prayer.
